100 years ago most women over 30 in the UK received the right to vote. Jewish women have been very much part of the hard won struggle for female suffrage. Curator Dr Kathrin Pieren and Assistant Curator Jemima Jarman will discuss the Jewish involvement in the fight for the vote, reveal a new exhibit and present plans for a forthcoming display on innovative and radical Jewish women to increase the female presence in the History Gallery.
