We are open daily from 10am-5pm, except for Fridays when we close at 2pm.
We are open on bank holidays (except 25 and 26 December and 1 January) but closed on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur - full list here.
Unfortunately the museum does not have any designated parking, but there are some pay and display bays in the area - see Camden Council for more information.
Blue Badge Holders can park for free in residents' bays or pay and display bays for up to three hours.
Though you can book your tickets in advance, you do not have to. Tickets for museum admission can be bought on the day at museum admissions.
We do recommend that you book for events in advance though, as these can sell out.
Yes, your museum ticket will give you access to the whole museum, including any temporary exhibitions on show when you visit.
Not at all. We welcome people of all faiths, backgrounds and cultures.
Yes, visitors are allowed to take photographs in the permanent galleries, but not with flash. This may vary with temporary exhibitions though, so please do check for these.
Yes. Accessible lifts serve all floors of the builting and accessible toilets are available on all floors. Further accessibility information.
We also have one wheelchair available for use, which can be accessed on arrival. Please book this in advance on 020 7284 7384.
From 1 September 2016 the café will no longer operate under SKA supervision. The cafe will remain fish-vegetarian and will have sealed kosher options available. If you have concerns or questions about this do not hesitate to contact a member of the Visitor Services Team during your visit.

We have a free cloakroom just inside the museum where we will be happy to take your bags and coats and you can collect them at the end of your visit.
Please note that we are unable to allow over-sized luggage into the museum and cannot accommodate anything larger than cabin-sized luggage (max 24x37x43cm).
We conduct bag searches as part of our security measures.
