Touring exhibitions

We have a variety of touring exhibitions on different themes available for hire. These are suitable for display in museums, schools, colleges, libraries, synagogues and other public venues. Some focus on different aspects of the fascinating story of the Jewish community in Britain. Others relate to stories of immigration and the Holocaust and carry powerful messages against prejudice and racism.

Discovering Judaism loan box

What is the Discovering Judaism loan box?
This is a large plastic crate on wheels with many artefacts to illuminate your lessons on Jewish festivals, home life, the Torah, traditional clothing and more.

The objects have been handpicked from Jewish shops around London by an education officer.

How much does it cost to borrow?
£30 for each two-week period (£60 for a month etc). You will also need to leave a refundable deposit of £30 in case of any significant damage caused.

How will I know what all the objects are?
The pack comes with an explanatory booklet. The items in the box are also labelled.
In addition, there is a set of A4 laminated labels so the objects can be used to create a display!

This project was supported by MLA London.

Please speak to an education officer on +44 (0)20 7284 7384 or email education@jewishmuseum.org.uk for more information and to answer any further questions.
