This is your chance to watch a Comic Book Artist in action. They will be creating their own cartoons, as well as responding to the galleries and visitors – you may end up as a work of art yourself!
Taymah Anderson was born in Paddington, London and was raised in the city's north-west.
Under the name Said Taymah, Anderson has produced images for independent publications, graphic novels, online magazines and events.
In 2016 he had graduated reading BA Graphic Design at the Central Saint Martins, College of Art and Design. There he sought to learn various practices of communication, ranging from advertising, crafting metals and engaging with code. Anderson had taken a designer's method to problem-solving and applied this to his drawings, often holding an autobiographical approach.He found his place as a Graphic artist.
Exhibitions include a solo show at Forty Seven London, "Said Taymah in Retrospect", 2016; Hoxton Gallery, "Work in Progress show", 2016; Central Saint Martin's Show Two (Design), 2016;
He curated an evening of fine arts and live music at the "The Black-current and Stray Coffee Jam", London, 2015; In April 2017, Anderson was invited to draw for the 7th annual event, "University Business Forum" in Brussels, Belgium. There he was to perform a live drawn response to matters of the forum and its speakers.
The North West London native is the founder of "The Mark Life Drawing Society", seeking to bring the discipline of drawing to underrepresented creatives, promoting better mental health and wellbeing through the arts.
His interests lie in sounds and the diverse cultures they revolve around, and social development, with a focus on the stories of people we live amongst.
